Vipik City is a city located in the southeastern Torren region. It is the hometown of the second Gym Leader, Xavier. A dump disrupts its otherwise peaceful atmosphere.
Walkthrough
When first entering the city
- Exploring the city reveals that the exit to the Crossroads as well as the entrance to the Vipik Dump are currently inaccessible, which leaves the player to take on the gym in the northwest.
- Before entering the gym, the player has a brief discussion with Damian that an Abyssal Cultist overhears.
- After Damian finishes speaking, enter the gym.
After defeating Xavier
- As the player walks down from the Vipik Gym, a Hiker approaches the player informing them that the Abyssal Cultists have taken Damian into the Vipik Dump.
- Since the path southward to the Crossroads remains blocked, the player has no choice but to enter the dump.
After clearing the Vipik Dump
- Exit the city by entering the Crossroads.
Encountering Delta Wooper
- A girl standing beside the tree stump beneath the Pokémon Center mentions the presence of a strange creature which consumes the treats that she leaves in the tree. She speculates that it must be consuming these treats during the night when she is not present, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.
- When speaking to the tree trunk, if the player has a treat that can be placed in the tree trunk, they will be given a chance to do so. Though the list of treats can potentially include many different food items, only a portion of them will attract the attention of Delta Wooper.
- Delta Wooper will appear in front of the tree trunk between 12:00 a.m. to 5:59 a.m. if an acceptable treat is left behind. If an acceptable treat is placed in the tree during this time, the player will need to reload the map by entering a building, flying to a different city, etc.
- If an unacceptable treat is placed in the tree it can be retrieved from the tree trunk 24 hours after it has been placed.
- Acceptable treats will disappear from the tree regardless of the player encountering Delta Wooper within the specified time period and cannot be retrieved.
The food items which can be placed within the tree trunk are:
