Audrey is the leader of the Abyssal Cult in Pokémon Insurgence.
In the game
The player first comes into contact with Audrey in Miara Town. The inhabitants of Miara have generally negative feelings towards Audrey after they see her. While the player is viewing the Blue Orb, a rare artifact donated by a sponsor, in the Miara Museum, she forces her way into the area where the Orb is held, looks around, and finds a secret compartment that holds the Tidal Bell, stating that the Blue Orb was a fake. In fact, she donated the fake to draw attention away from herself. After taking the Tidal Bell, she challenges the player to battle her in the Whirl Islands, where she plans to summon Lugia.
When the player confronts Audrey in the Whirl Islands, the summoning process is already underway. With her newly summoned legendary Pokémon, she battles the player. After the battle, Audrey is still confident that her plans can be carried out.
The player next sees Audrey in Kepler City. When the player comes out of the Kepler Observatory with Anastasia, the weather is stormy and rainy, even though the skies were clear before the building was entered. Audrey appears, flying on Lugia. She begins talking about how Lugia's storm-creating abilities will flood the world. Kepler City is flooded as a result of the heavy storm, and so all the houses are locked. Anastasia gives the player the Scuba Gear, telling them to find someone who can take advantage of it to help keep the Abyssal Cult in check.
With the Scuba Gear, the player can now Dive in Maelstrom 9 and find the Abyssal Base. Using Mew's Transform, the player is able to get through the security of the base, which is in the form of force fields that only certain people can access. By obtaining the password to a computer in the base, the player drains the sewers and finds Audrey's change of clothes, where they find her DNA. The player finds Audrey in a room behind a force field that only she can access. Floating in an orb is Kyogre.
Audrey begins a monologue, explaining that while Kyogre is extremely powerful underwater, being the king of the ocean, its powers are greatly diminished above water. Furthermore, during the original Hoenn-Aqua incident, it was found that Pokémon with extremely high base stats, rivaling those of legendary Pokémon, can be found in the most remote depths of the ocean. Audrey plans to flood the world with Lugia, allowing Kyogre to unleash its power in any place. Audrey has obtained some new artifacts: she is able to keep Kyogre in control thanks to a shard of the crystal that exploded during the events at the Jade Tower, and she has obtained the real Blue Orb, which allows Kyogre to undergo Primal Reversion, which she uses in battle against the player.
After Audrey is defeated, Malde, Harmony's father, and Damian arrive; Malde is still deformed from the events at Sonata Hills, and Damian has also been infected with Pokérus. Malde delights in his transformation and wants the shard for his own purposes. He reveals that the Pokérus allows one to remember suppressed memories. Damian remembers being abandoned at a young age by his mother, who is revealed to be Audrey. Under the orders of Malde, Damian takes Audrey's shard, the only thing keeping Kyogre in check. Kyogre breaks free and moves towards Audrey, who backs up into a pool of water, with Kyogre following her in. It is assumed that this action killed her.
After the events at the Abyssal Base, the Abyssal Cult is disbanded due to the loss of their leader, and the flooding in Kepler City is drained.
