Shade Forest is a forest that lies just above Telnor Town. It is separated into two areas. Some people believe a shady group is gathering here. Can also access Telnor Cave from here.

Walkthrough

After escaping from the Cult of Darkrai

• Head south and enter Telnor Town.

After receiving the player's starter Pokémon

• Head northwest, pick up the DexNav, and continue northwest into Telnor Cave.

After defeating the Cultist in Town Hall

• Head northwest and enter Telnor Cave.
• After exiting from the other side of Telnor Cave, head north onto Route 1.

After encountering Malde in Narra Town

• Once the player has met with Malde in Narra Town, the stairs leading into the Cult of Darkrai base will appear again, allowing the player to enter once more.
