Professor Pine is a Pokémon Professor who works in the Holon region. She works on developing special Pokéballs, namely the Delta Ball and the Ancient Ball.

In the game

The player meets Professor Pine upon being introduced to the Holon region. She tasks the player with helping explore the region and offers to supply the player for their journey.

Professor Pine witnesses Professor Maple capture Delta Registeel and learns of his plan to conquer the world with the power of the Delta Regis. She follows Maple to Holon Lake to try to stop him from capturing Delta Regice, but fails. She tells the player that the original plan for the Holon expedition was to study a powerful being that was causing Jaern's crystal to react. She tells the player to go to the Gaea Core to capture Regigigas in order to defeat Maple.

After the player clears both the Holon and Taen questlines, Professor Pine gives the player a Delta Beldum.

Professor Pine can be found in all of the Holon Settlements selling supplies. She is found in the lab in Settlement Foxtrot and found in the healing tent in all other Settlements.
