Xavier is the Gym Leader of Vipik City's Gym, known officially as the Vipik Gym. He specializes in mostly Bug and Poison-type Pokémon. He gives the Stinger Badge to Trainers who defeat him.
In the game
Xavier appears in Pokémon Insurgence as the Gym Leader of Vipik City's Gym. This Gym is the second to be challenged by the player. Trainers who defeat him will be given the Stinger Badge, along with TM76 (Venoshock).
Xavier appears to be a very laid back young man who is also in tune with nature. He used to have a career as a Pokémon Ranger before becoming a Gym Leader, according to one of Vipik City's inhabitants. He is very proud of the fact that his Beedrill is capable of Mega Evolving.
When the player reaches Helios City, they learn that, although Xavier is the Gym Leader of the Vipik Gym, he actually lives in Helios City. He is willing to reward the player with the Pidgeotite if they can show him the Summit Badge after defeating East.
Xavier appears in the Pokémon Center of Selene City once the player arrives there. He says that it is one of his favorite cities due to the creepy atmosphere.
