King Vesryn is a member of The Timeless. Among The Timeless members, he has the most contact with the player and is responsible for coordinating most of the player's actions when reclaiming the Crystal Pieces. He is also said to have been the founder of the Torren region as well as the Vesryn and Aroma regions from the fangames Pokémon Zeta and Omicron.

King Vesryn was chosen by Victini to become its partner.

In the game

Years before the player begins their journey through the Torren region, King Vesryn was among the members of The Timeless that decided to lend Adam temporary usage of Arceus's Crystal in order to quell the actions of the cults in the Torren region.

Once the player comes into contact with Calreath, King Vesryn is able to reach out to the player and Nora in order to invite them to speak with him in the Crystal Caves. Here, the two learn of the existence of The Timeless as well as part of the Crystal's role in the story. King Vesryn also has the player officially battle Mew as they are now strong enough to defend themselves from cultists which target them for being the owner of Mew. He urges the pair to help him reclaim the shards of Arceus's Crystal in order to stop the world from experiencing a calamity of unprecedented proportions. King Vesryn reveals himself to be the partner of Victini in order to abate any feelings of distrust towards him and what he has said.

King Vesryn returns later in the story after the player subdues Giratina, Nyx, and her followers in order to reclaim the Crystal Pieces. While he congratulates and thanks the player for stopping the destruction of their universe, he insists that he hold onto the shards for a little longer until the player manages to pass their final test of conquering the Pokémon League followed by defeating the eight Timeless Trainers in battle. After this is accomplished, King Vesryn determines that there is no longer any reason to keep the Crystal Pieces from the player's possession and grants the shards to the player along with the title of the Third Augur.

Though King Vesryn presumably battles and loses to Reukra before he attempts to summon Arceus, he does not make an appearance in the Void Gauntlet nor at any point thereafter, leaving his fate uncertain.
