Jaern is the Second Augur of the Torren Region.
In the game
He is revealed to be the master of the Sky Cult and admitted to killing the First Augur himself. The Gym Leader of Helios City, East, was working with him and later was sacrificed by Jaern upon losing to the main character in a pokemon battle to summon Rayquaza. He told that the main character had issues with him in the past, although the issues are not explained since those memories where erased from the main character, so far without any explanation. He is the final boss of 1.0, only possessing Rayquaza, which can Mega Evolve at lvl 50.
