The Holon Desert is an arid biome located in the southern Holon region which is only accessible from Settlement Oscar. The area is completely covered in sand and rocks. A mysterious pyramid lies in the center of the area. A total of three Delta Pokémon, excluding those found in the Holon Pyramid, can be found throughout the area. A vicious sandstorm is active at all times in this desert.
A system of caves designated as Holon Desert Cave in the game are hidden throughout the area.
Walkthrough
- Travel south and enter the Holon Pyramid.
- After acquiring the Magic Carpet from the pyramid, go with Professor Maple to observe the destruction that occurred while the player was inside the pyramid.
- Once Professor Maple has finished speaking, leave the area.
Encountering Delta Buneary
- Navigate to the southernmost part of the route, looking for a set of small rocks which form an arrow pointing to the right at a rocky wall.
- Bring a Pokémon that knows Dig to the exact spot that the arrow points to in order to create an entrance into the Holon Desert Cave within the rock formation.
- Enter the cave and follow the path to the northeast to encounter Delta Buneary.
Encountering Delta Tangela
- After obtaining the Hiking Boots, scale the rocks located in the western part of the area to find Delta Tangela.
Encountering Delta Regirock
- After defeating Professor Maple at the Gaea Core and obtaining the Hiking Boots, scale the rocks located in the southeastern part of area.
- Look around in the sand at the top of the rock formation and interact with the thin strip of sand that looks darker than the rest to fall down into a portion of the Holon Desert Cave.
- Follow the path of the cave to encounter Delta Regirock.
