Prism Guard
Insurgence
Inflicts damage to the foe from non-contact moves.

Prism Guard is an ability exclusive to Pokémon Zeta/Omicron and Pokémon Insurgence. It is the signature Ability of Mega Milotic.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with Prism Guard is hit with an attack that does not make contact, the attacker takes damage equal to 1/8 of its own HP, after all turn-based damage is dealt. If Prism Guard causes both the user and the attacker to faint, then the attacker will faint first. It is the non-contact counterpart to Iron Barbs and Rough Skin.

If a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a multi-strike move that does not make contact (such as Water Shuriken), each hit will activate this Ability. The Ability does not activate if an attack hits the substitute of a Pokémon with this Ability.

Outside of battle

Prism Guard has no effect outside of battle.
