- Ghost's immunity to effects that prevent recall or escape
- Grass's immunity to Leech Seed and powder moves.
- Ground, Rock, and Steel's immunity to Sandstorm damage.
- Ice's immunity to Sheer Cold, Hail damage, and becoming frozen.
- Poison and Steel's immunity to becoming poisoned.
Additionally, Omnitype also effects the damage dealt to the user by Stealth Rock.
Pokémon with the ability Mold Breaker will ignore the effects of Omnitype when attacking. Trick-or-Treat and Forest's Curse both fail when used against Pokémon with Omnitype. Soak, Dragonify, and Medusa's Ray do not fail against Pokémon with Omnitype, however they do not alter the type-effectiveness chart shown above.
