As of 1.2.3 patch at the right of the tower is a hidden grotto with a move tutor inside and some patches of grass.Tutor teaches seed bomb synthesis and giga drain.At the grass patches you can encounter pokemon whose color is changing with the region normally(e.g. vivillon).The color of the pokemon is random in each encounter here.
