The main attraction of the city is the Miara Museum, which houses many rare fossils and ancient artifacts. The city is also home to a Trading Outpost that sees Pokémon of all rarities change hands. Because of Miara Town's proximity to the ocean, it is often the first place that tourists visit when coming to Torren.

Interactive Map Location of Miara Town in Torren.

Miara Town is a small and peaceful coastal town located in southern Torren. Miara Town was the first settlement made in the Torren Region, by sailors who came from the south. The dwellings and facilities of the town rest on many small islands, which are connected by bridges. The town is accessible from the north through Route 8 and through the Stormy Seas from the south.

Walkthrough

In the Museum

  • While the player is viewing the Blue Orb, which is held on the lower floor, the leader of the Abyssal Cult, Audrey, will walk in and state that the Blue Orb in the museum is a fake. She then retrieves the truly important artifact, the Tidal Bell, which is hidden in a secret compartment in the display case holding the fake Blue Orb. Before leaving, she challenges the player to a battle in the Whirl Islands.

After defeating Audrey

  • When the player returns to Miara Town, the museum worker is waiting at the north entrance/exit of the town. He will give the player the Poké Flute to wake up the Snorlax on Route 8.
