Castle Moat is an ability exclusive to Pokémon Insurgence. It was the signature Ability of Mega Magcargo before the 1.2 update.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with Castle Moat is hit by an Water-type move, its Special Defense is increased by one stage, and the move will have no effect on that Pokémon.

Outside of battle

Castle Moat has no effect outside of battle.

Pokémon with Castle Moat

This ability was once the signature Ability of Mega Magcargo, however it has been replaced with Vaporization as of Insurgence 1.2. As a result, there are no longer any Pokémon that possess this ability.
