It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
It can breed with any Pokémon and Delta Pokemon other than the Pokémon in the Undiscovered group and itself, including some genderless Pokémon, to produce Eggs of the other's species.

- Despite having the ability Protean, Delta Ditto cannot change its type to any type except for Normal because it is unable to learn any moves that are not Normal-type.
- In addition, it is unable to change its form to match its type unless another Pokémon targets Delta Ditto using Soak or Dragonify.
