Spectral Jaws is an ability exclusive to Pokémon Insurgence. It is the signature Ability of Mega Girafarig.

Effect

In battle

Spectral Jaws causes all biting moves used by the Pokémon to inflict Special damage and receive a 30% boost. Despite being classified as physical moves, this ability calculates damage using the user's Special Attack and the opponent's Special Defense stat. Despite targeting the opponent's Special Defense stat, all moves under the effect of this ability are unaffected by Light Screen and will not activate Mirror Coat; instead, they are affected by Reflect and activate Counter.
