Damian is the male Rival in Pokémon Insurgence.

In the game

Damian was adopted by his mother at a very young age. It seems the two are not on very good terms over his mother not letting him get a Pokémon. He is seen as childish and immature by his mother, but shows a great deal of maturity when protecting the Second Augur from the Assassins sent by the Infernal and Abyssal Cult. He is shown to be unsure of things as well, such as when he was unsure on which starter to pick, ultimately letting the player decide first. He also shows a sort of need for attention, such as when he asked the teacher in Midna Town if he got a prize for being third. Like Nora and the main character he was choosen by a pixie legendary, Shaymin, after being rescued by the main character in Vikip Dump.
