Delta Scyther (referred to as just Scyther in-game) is a dual-type Ice/Fighting Delta Pokémon.

It evolves into Delta Scizor when traded holding a Metal Coat.

Due to its mutation, it is unable to breed.

Trivia

  • Prior to Generation 7, no other Pokémon had the same type combination as Delta Scyther and its evolution.
  • Despite having different base stats, Delta Scyther and its evolution, Delta Scizor, both have a base stat total of 500. This makes Delta Scyther and its non-Delta counterpart the only pre-evolutionary forms that have the same base stat total as their evolutions.
  • Along with Scyther, Delta Scyther has the highest base stat total of all Pokémon that have not evolved but can still evolve, with 500.
