Mewtwo is a Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon.

While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it can Mega Evolve into two different forms: Mega Mewtwo X using Mewtwonite X and Mega Mewtwo Y using Mewtwonite Y. It can transform into Armored Mewtwo while holding the Mewtwo Armor. It also has another forme activated by (currently unknown). Its original forme, Mewtwo, will then become Shadow Mewtwo, and it can Mega Evolve into Mega Shadow Mewtwo X using the Mewtwonite X.

It is a member of the Mew duo along with Mew.
